HEFKO GmbH (Hamburg, Germany) forms part of HEFKO Group consisting of HEFKO GmbH and the holding company HEFKO Minerals & Metals, Shipping AG, based in Münchenstein/Basel, Switzerland.
The HEFKO Group has actively been trading since many years with steel products and raw materials; predominantly with Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch and German buyers among others. Besides spare part business for different Navies is playing an important role. The HEFKO Group is also active in financing certain business projects.
In January 1992 HEFKO GmbH was founded. A team of specialists is handling all enquiries of the Navies and other ship owners and shipyards regarding technical goods.
The company maintains excellent relationship with a high number of international suppliers, in particular OEM´s in Naval shipbuilding sector.
This business covers the full range of products necessary for the maintenance of Marine vessels and includes parts like a simple light-emitting diode up to big ship’s propellers. The company has been growing successfully year by year.
At the beginning of 2010 HEFKO Products was newly established, at the beginning as a separate company and since October 2013 as a division of the merged HEFKO GmbH. Since then the company provides a wide range of equipment and components for air conditioning and refrigeration systems on board of merchant ships, passenger vessels and naval vessels, yachts, offshore-platforms and special vehicles.
In January 2019 HEFKO GmbH was appointed by HAWKE Transit System as its representative. HAWKE is manufacturer of packing systems for electric cables and pipes penetrating bulkheads, decks and walls in both Civil and Marine applications.
